This summer the Cabildo de Tenerife plans to offer free Wi-Fi in the municipalities of Arona, Adeje, Santiago del Teide and Puerto de la Cruz, the four municipalities that represent 85% of tourists visiting Tenerife. If the result is positive, this plan will be extended to the whole island.

This project aims to improve Internet access not only for residents, but also for tourists, who want to check emails, social networks and chats, or search for information about the island. This service will have a simple registration and will give added value to Tenerife as a tourist destination.

At these points you can find free Wi-Fi networks:

Puerto de la Cruz - Plaza del Charco, Castillo de San Felipe, Playa Jardín, Lago Martiánez, acclimatisation garden of La Orotava, fishing port, Avenida de Colón and Plaza de los Reyes Católicos;

Santiago del Teide - Los Gigantes cliff, City Hall and various beaches;

Arona - Los Cristianos Harbour, Garañaña Park, Centinela Viewpoint, Town Hall, Las Galletas coast walk, Costa del Silencio promenade and some beaches.

Adeje - Playa Troya, entrance booth to Barranco del Infierno, City Hall and tourist huts of Playa Fañabé.
