This summer, hotel occupancy in Tenerife will exceed 90%, with a recovery in the North (both in occupancy and in average price), which is growing more than the South, as it also came from below.
Following the upward trend of the first months of the year, there is already a 5% increase in the arrival of tourists, so this summer is surpassing all limits, which had already been beaten in 2016, even in the national market, which is stronger during summer.
In May and June, some hotels were closed for refurbishment, so as to improve their facilities. Thus, a great part of the island’s accommodation will be renewed, offering its visitors better quality.
