According to data from Island Council of Tenerife, national tourism has increased this year, as in the first two months of 2015 around 117 thousand Spanish tourists stayed in tourist establishments in Tenerife.
As far as foreign tourists are concerned, the island recorded a total of 683 thousand tourists from abroad in January and February 2015, the United Kingdom continuing to be a source of a large influx of tourists, which increased in the first two months of this year.
Other markets that are still on the rise are the French and Italian markets.
