The Cabildo of Tenerife together with the municipalities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna have presented the new ‘Festival de Tenerife’ (Tenerife Festival), an initiative connected to the ‘Tenerife 2030’ strategy, which will take place from September 8 to December 30, with the aim of uniting the cultural offer of the metropolitan area.
Its first edition will include more than 70 activities that will be take place not only in the streets, but also in the main cultural sites of both cities, in particular Auditorio Adán Martín, TEA, Leal and Guimerá theaters, as well as Aguere Espacio Cultural.
Besides the already established events, such as ‘FAM’, ‘Plenilunio’, ‘La Noche en Blanco’, ‘Canarias Jazz Showroom’, ‘Fimucité’ or ‘FIC’, the theatrical component will be very prominent. With this festival, the cultural programme of the two municipalities will become more visible to the public.
