Discover a mysterious underwater world filled with rich marine life at Loro Parque’s spectacular aquarium. Walk through the shark tunnel and watch these awesome predators swimming above you, shudder at the sight of piranhas and wonder at the vibrant array of fish.

The aquarium contains more than 20,000 aquatic species and plants using 1.2 million litres of water. It was first built in 1992 and today has seven themed exhibits that recreate eco-systems from different parts of the world. You can enjoy a coral reef that has been made using volcanic rock from the south of Tenerife, the sights of African Cichlids, fluorescent Cardinal Tetras and much more.

When visiting Loro Parque, be sure to take some time to visit the aquarium – it is not every day that you can get up close and personal to sharks!
